Leonidas Kavakos / Enrico Pace

A violinist acclaimed for his brilliance, Leonidas Kavakos has stated in interview that performing all of Beethoven's violin sonatas would allow him to understand the composer's essence: "They are ten pieces, composed over a relatively short period of time," he would say, "but which are so different – and their evolution so dramatic – as one could possibly imagine. All of his talent is revealed, in terms of Beethoven's inexhaustible improvisational potential". It is this profound and knowledgeable perspective that Kavakos will bring to three of these pieces, accompanied by pianist Enrico Pace.
