Privacy Policy

Primeira Plateia is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. This page explains, without legalese, what we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

1. Usage statistics (optional). If you accept in the cookie notice, we use Vercel Analytics to understand which pages are visited. The data is aggregated and anonymous: no profiling, no advertising cookies, no sharing with third parties for marketing. If you decline, nothing is collected.

2. Newsletter (optional). If you subscribe, we store your email and preferences. We use double opt-in: you only receive emails after confirming via the link we send you. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all emails immediately.

3. Saved events. Your saved-events list lives only in your browser (localStorage). It never reaches our servers.

Legal basis and retention

We process this data based on your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time — by declining cookies, unsubscribing, or writing to us. Newsletter data is kept while your subscription is active.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and receive your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of them, write to fabio@primeiraplateia.pt — we reply within one month at most. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).

Processors

The site is hosted on Vercel and the database on Supabase (EU region — Ireland). Newsletter emails are sent through a transactional email provider. All act as processors under their respective data processing agreements.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we update the date above and, for newsletter subscribers, give notice by email.
