Bruckner Symphony No. 9

Having performed with conductors Esa-Pekka Salonen, Gustavo Dudamel and Simon Rattle, Truls Mørk is considered one of the most inspired cellists of our time. Among the repertoire to which he has devoted himself, the Schumann Cello Concerto stands out, to which he has returned throughout his career. On one of his interpretations, the Financial Times wrote that "Mørk's absorbing dedication transformed the work into a meditation at once serene and dramatic, a rêverie whose states of mind remained unified". In this programme, conducted by Hannu Lintu, Bruckner's final symphony is also included.
