Víkingur Ólafsson

One of the most celebrated and gifted musicians of our time, Víkingur Ólafsson has been repeatedly awarded for his recordings, winning, among others, the BBC Music Magazine Album of the Year in 2019 and the Grammy for Best Solo Instrumental Classical Album in 2025. Recognised for his interpretations of J. S. Bach, the Icelandic pianist has also turned his attention, with exciting results, to the work of other composers, as on the albums Debussy Rameau (2020) and Philip Glass Piano Works (2017). It is to these composers that he now returns, in this much-anticipated recital.
