Journey to Scandinavia
Concertos de Domingo

Since the second half of the nineteenth century, thanks to Edvard Grieg and the music that the Norwegian composer wrote for Henrik Ibsen's theatrical piece Peer Gynt, Scandinavian symphonic repertoire has gained a well-deserved place of prominence. In this Sunday Concert, we take a Journey to Scandinavia through the inevitable Grieg and Sibelius, but also through works by Koch, Nielsen, Larsson and Moberg, marked in some cases by their connection to the folklore of this European region.
