Lambchop

Lambchop are one of the greatest North American institutions dedicated to songwriting of the last decades. Led by Kurt Wagner, they have built, without haste and without constraints since the 90s, one of the most singular discographies of our times, starting from so-called alt country but seeking to escape any categorization. Lambchop's new album is called Punching The Clown (City Slang, 2026) and was born, as happens with many good stories, from a simple occurrence: Kurt Wagner was driving to fill up his car when he heard a song on the radio made of banjo and various voices, between country and gospel, and felt the need to make an album that would reflect that magic and simplicity. In this concert, Kurt Wagner presents the new album in an evening full of intimacy in voice and piano format.
