The Pleasure of Cinema – There's a Party in the Village

The project "The Pleasure of Cinema" proposes the holding of regular quality cinema sessions aimed at the general public, with special focus on the senior population. The initiative aims to promote social inclusion, access to culture and the valorization of the elderly through carefully selected film screenings. More than entertainment, the project proposes cinema as a space for socializing, memory and intergenerational dialogue, recognizing the fundamental role of the elderly in the preservation of cultural identity and in strengthening community life. Cinema, as an artistic language and means of expression, awakens memories, stimulates critical thinking and favors dialogue about different generations and historical contexts. Programming regular and quality sessions is, therefore, a way of valuing culture and senior citizenship, transforming the cinema space into an environment of sharing, memory and affection.
