ONYX

ONYX is a dreamlike ritual of void and presence, where the boundaries between political and social intervention are erased, and a space charged with silence, noise, non-linear information, weight and the fluidity of time is created. Summoning ancestors and future beings, we converse across worlds, about future memories of past times yet to be lived. From hip hop to Vogue, cultures that inhabit us in the real world, are evoked here. They are our weapons. Also the words we exchange and shout between samples of so many songs that also created us. As if the body were not a limit, as if history were not full of absences, with the certainty that imagination is absolutely essential. Revolution may actually lie in the capacity to imagine. Before, during and after action.
