Mário e Heitor Chichorro: Ar(te) de família

An exhibition dedicated to Mário Chichorro, a prolific Portuguese artist, entitled Ar(te) de família. Although he never had the opportunity to exhibit in Portugal during his lifetime, his work is today honoured at CAE da Figueira da Foz, in connection with that of his younger brother, Heitor Chichorro, an artist already known to the people of Figueira. Born in 1932 in Torres Vedras, Mário studied architecture in Portugal before moving to France in 1963. After his dismissal in 1968, due to his political activism, he decided to dedicate himself entirely to artistic creation.
