Maria João celebrates 40 years of a brilliant career this year with the launch of a new album "Abundância", a return to her roots, recorded between Mozambique and Lisbon. In Mozambique, the album featured collaborations with local musicians and the recording of an extraordinary choir, which gives a distinctive identity to this project. Production was handled by electronic music master Luís Fernandes. Maria João presents an original musical vision in which her singular and compelling voice takes center stage, asserting itself once again as an unparalleled expressive force, capable of the deepest emotions.
