The Memory of the Smell of Things

Octogenarian Arménio (José Martins), a former combatant in the Colonial War, lives in a nursing home. In this sad and lonely space, he has time to reflect on life. While assailed by painful memories of the war in Angola, he ends up creating a deep connection with Hermínia (Mina Andala), a young and dedicated employee of African descent.
