"Death to the Algorithm" is Daniel Duncan's new stand-up solo in development, a show about digital life and how the virtual world not only affects, but is already completely blurring with reality. With acid humor and no filter, the show starts from an uncomfortable question: if the algorithm is neutral, why does it always favor the same people? Between jokes, provocations and reflections, the show explores themes like digital exploitation, the cult of influencers and coaches, the plasticized masculinity of online forums, internet Bolsonarism, avatar patriotism, Twitter web communism and him, the true villain of the story: the algorithm. A kind of digital foreman, who watches you, gives you crumbs, fires you without notice, and still makes you believe it's your fault, while you dance the summer hit, smiling. "Death to the Algorithm" is an invitation to laugh at modern chaos, understand the machine and, with luck, find some humor in the middle of the feed.
