LEX is a company that survives in a strict hierarchical system, where the strongest — or, at least, the cleverest — wins, but where everyone is part of the family. They are all employees, but the market is free to do as it wishes.

It is in this company that Jorge works, a single father. Deluded by false hopes of a better future, he accepts with subservience all the demands of his superiors. He is pushed into an innovative productivity programme to prove his commitment and debt to the company. (Will it really be worth it!) The effort will be rewarded and hope is the last to die. The person dies first and hope dies only after.
