For a Brief History of Water
Teatro Praga

BOX OFFICE OPENING – 2026_2027 SEASON
June 18-21: exclusively for CCB Card holders
From June 22 onwards: general public
In an era where environmental issues are increasingly important and the planet is at risk, Teatro Praga dedicates its attention to each of its five elements, following an outdated yet still active theory, to study their past and present, in a cycle called For a Brief History of the Elements. Diverting the discussion away from measures to be taken or answers to be proposed, these performances converse with the elements, seeking a fictional approach more inclined to listen than to assert. For a Brief History of Water is the first performance dedicated to this history, where each of the elements is narrator and protagonist and where humans appear only as guests.
Accessibility: Performance with Portuguese Sign Language interpretation on December 6, at 5:00 PM.
The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to capture, store and use image, sound and voice recordings for the purposes of dissemination and preservation of memory, of both its cultural and artistic activities and its spaces.
