Figueira em Miniaturas - Cartoon em 3D

The Centro de Artes e Espectáculos da Figueira da Foz presents the exhibition "Figueira em Miniaturas - Cartoon em 3D", created by cartoonist Zé Carlos. The exhibition will be on display in Room 3, from February 11 to April 5, 2026. This unique exhibition is an affective and three-dimensional journey through the collective memory of the city. Zé Carlos, with his characteristic stroke and sense of humor, brings three-dimensionality to what he calls "Cartoon em 3D" – a set of miniatures dedicated to Figueira da Foz and its parishes. The works have a dual purpose: to recall and to make known. Through scenes and figures of charm, the artist captures the uses, customs and traditions that shaped daily life in Figueira. For some, it will be a pleasant journey of nostalgia; for others, a delightful discovery of a Figueira of strong traditions. More than an artistic exhibition, "Figueira em Miniaturas" is a tribute to the people and experiences that characterize the city's identity, preserving its intangible heritage with sensitivity and creativity.
