Emancipated Spectator - Open Door

Emancipated Spectator – Open Door is the continuation of a programme launched last year, now in a new phase. An initiative by AORCA, in partnership with Cineteatro Louletano, that promotes connection between communities, artists and cultural practices. The programme promotes access to culture in two ways: it takes part of Cineteatro's programming to meet the cultural movements that exist in other places in the territory, valuing sharing, real exchange and the active participation of all people. It develops through a regular programme of meetings, which invites community members and scheduled artists. Coordinated by Nuno Preto and Sara Martins, Emancipated Spectator – Open Door establishes itself as an open space for meeting, dialogue and collective construction. Additional Information The first activity will be attending the play José Afonso ao Vivo nos Coliseus, 1983, on 8 January, for a subsequent critical analysis of the play, open to those who wish to join.
