Between new compositions and original arrangements for ensemble and orchestra, in his Carte Blanche to CCB, Bruno Pernadas constructs a sonic and visual narrative where video, electronics and acoustic instrumentation merge into a single scenic device, where the performative use of the spoken word and references to the artistic universe of Robert Ashley, David Byrne and Laurie Anderson expand a proposal that challenges aesthetic and formal boundaries.

The concert also includes a tribute to José Mário Branco, evoking his visit to CCB in 1997, through a suite created from some of his most striking themes.
