Group of traditional music and authentic Ukrainian singing Despite being young, Litá carry in their voices all the wisdom of their ancestors. In an inexplicably powerful vibration, they have the ability to make us connect with our origins. Litá emerged during the beginning of large-scale war in Ukraine and settled in the city of Lisbon, Portugal. The members of the group united their forces to popularize traditional Ukrainian songs, music, dances and the art of traditional instruments. Polyphonic songs address themes such as love, destiny and humour. They are songs collected in ethnographic expeditions that promise to touch the soul and make the heart smile. The Litá group enriches its repertoire through ethnographic expeditions in Ukraine, collecting songs and customs directly from the elders of the Volyn', L'viv and Zaporízhia regions. Their main goal is to preserve traditions and defend Ukrainian culture, passing on the wisdom of their ancestors and demonstrating to the world its richness. Litá are a bridge between past and present, celebrating Ukrainian cultural heritage and inspiring respect and appreciation of traditions.
