O FREIXO DE SANTO ANTÓNIO

On November 14, 2019, the ash tree in Largo da Misericórdia - Páteo de Santo António -, approximately 300 years old and classified in 2009 by ICNF as a tree of Public Interest (ICNF: case number KNJ1/537), was felled due to its deteriorated condition and public safety concerns, following a decision properly supported by technical opinions and assessments and with the agreement of the Instituto de Conservação da Natureza e Florestas (ICNF).
