New Year's Concert

On the occasion of the New Year, Fernando Pessoa wrote a poem asserting it to be «Fiction of something beginning!» and that, like a river, «only begins in thought». Well then, let it be in thought and, preferably, inspired by good music. In its most virtuoso expression, however centuries old it may be, music has the power to transform us whenever we give it importance. Whether waltzes or polkas… it lends itself to reflection, but also to change. It adds something different to time, which does not stop and is always new. The charm of facing another 365 days lies in their not yet being History, as if they were 365 blank measures. Happy 2027!
